Easter Services at Mangapps Railway & Museum- Mangapps will be open, with trains running, every day from April 1st to 12th. with our steam loco "Brookfield" working on Easter Sunday & Monday. It's Half-Term Holiday next week! If you're looking for somewhere interesting to take the kids, why not try Mangapps Railway & Museum at Burnham-on-Crouch. The Mangapps End of Season Gala will be held over the weekend of the 25th & 26th October 2025. All serviceable locos will be operating- steam & diesel- and a variety of rolling stock, including the Canadian Pacific caboose and a pair of Class 302 EMU vehicles.

Normal opening times and fares apply.

Our 2025 August Bank Holiday Gala will be held on August 24th & 25th, featuring eight ex British Railways diesel locomotives and the unique steam loco "Brookfield". We shall be running a selection of vehicles from our collection of interesting rolling stock and, of course, there will be the opportunity to enjoy the noted Mangapps museum collection. Mangapps Railway & Museum is now open daily, from 11.30am, until the end of August. Trains run hourly each day and should the current changeable weather continue, there's plenty to see and do indoors🙂.
