As well as a Wedding, Events and Corporate Venue, NBC is the only Museum in Burton on Trent and embodies the community history of the area by telling the story of beer from Grain to Glass. In particular NBC showcases the Bass Collection of archives and artefacts. Bass was an internationally renowned local company until 2002 and subsequent support to continue was secured from Molson Coors Brewing Company. The Museum has been open for 41 years and has over time diversified to collect brewing archives and collections from all over the country reflecting social history, industrial innovation, and transport progress as well as manufacturing developments in Brewing. The National Brewery Centre acts as a national repository for brewing history.
