Autumn refresh doesn’t have to mean redoing the whole room. 🍂

Sometimes, one artwork is enough to shift the atmosphere.

Liam Carter’s “Muted Horizon” brings together soft beige, taupe, and warm brown in a quiet, layered landscape. Above the sofa, it sits naturally with autumn light, linen textures, and warm wood—creating a corner made for reading, tea, and taking a slower breath. ☕📖

What is the first detail you change when refreshing your home for autumn: wall art, textiles, or lighting?

There is a particular satisfaction in seeing an artwork find the wall where it belongs.
In Stuart’s bedroom, Verdant Silence introduces a broad field of softened green above the bed. Its quiet, atmospheric presence balances the room’s detailed textiles and gives the eye somewhere restful to settle.
Stuart was pleased not only with the painting, but also with the service, quick turnaround, and secure packaging. He finished his review by saying he would definitely purchase more paintings.
Thank you, Stuart, for allowing Lumi Gallery to become part of your home.

Whether it’s the centerpiece of a minimalist apartment or a serene addition to a coastal home, Glacial Drift brings the grounding stillness of the sea indoors.

it asks for a wall with room to breathe — above a sofa where the sweep keeps going, or above a bed where the cool palette does what cool palettes do best: quiet the room.

There's something different about this piece before you even get close to it. The colour — a cool, muted sage green — already brings the temperature down. Then you look at the foam.

The result is a painting you want to reach out and touch. Cool sage green, pure white, warm cream shore — aerial, calm, like looking down at the coast from somewhere very quiet.

This wasn’t painted for a gallery. It was painted for one specific wall.

The brief was simple: warm sand, rolling waves, and that golden-hour light that makes you want to stay outside just a little longer.
What photos can’t fully capture is the texture. The foam along each wave is built up by hand, layer upon layer, so it catches light and casts real shadows. The sky stays soft and smooth. The water meets the shore in three dimensions.
Every custom piece begins with a space, a feeling, or a memory someone wants to bring home.

If you could commission any scene for your home — a place, a moment, or a particular quality of light — what would it be? 👇

The left half of the face barely exists — pale, dissolving into layers of cobalt and white, closer to atmosphere than form.

The right half is the opposite: thick strokes of red, orange, and yellow that refuse to stay quiet.

What the artist understood is that a face is never just a face. It’s what it’s holding.

The human brain finds a face in almost nothing — two dots and a curve and we're already reading an expression. This painting pushes that instinct to its edge.

The figure is abstracted into pure geometry: warm terracotta at the crown, blush across the jaw, a single deep burgundy for the ear. No eyes, no fine lines — just thick palette knife blocks of colour that somehow add up to a presence you can feel across a room.

Every hand-painted artwork begins with a simple surface and a vision.

For Golden Drift, artist Giulia Moretti chose to build texture rather than simply paint color. Using a palette knife and thick layers of acrylic, she created raised golden treetops that interact with light throughout the day, giving the landscape a sense of movement and depth.

The result is more than a decorative piece — it’s an artwork that changes with its surroundings, bringing warmth, texture, and character to the room it inhabits.

A wave caught at the moment before it breaks — and held there, forever, in thick hand-painted texture.
From the first dark curve of deep navy to the final burst of white foam, every stroke of this palette knife seascape is built by hand. The kind of energy you can feel just looking at it
