Moyse's Hall Museum

Moyse's Hall Museum Museum with variety of collections For almost a thousand years Moyse's Hall has looked out over the Market Place of Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk.

It has seen many changes since it was built in 1180 and has had a variety of different uses, including a tavern and a 'gaol'. Currently it's a museum which provides an excellent setting in which to trace the unfolding story of West Suffolk, through displays which range from prehistoric times right through to the present. Moyse's Hall's own story is as rich and varied as the collections which it ho

Relics for pilgrimage and for historical study.

Working with the Catholic church, private individuals, and institutions, has meant that we can respectfully share relics associated with Edmund, Mary, Christ, Becket, Robert of Bury, and so many more.

Groups are coming on pilgrimage from across East Anglia and we can't wait to welcome them this summer.

West Suffolk Council run Moyse's Hall Museum has worked with multiple partners for this exhibition.
