Open House, Art in North Cambridge Open House is a long-term creative programme with Kettle's Yard and communities in North Cambridge. Open House is a creative project in north Cambridge.

It aims to establish a long-term creative partnership between Kettle's Yard, an art gallery, and its neighbours in north Cambridge. Kettle's Yard is partnering local residents to explore how Jim Ede’s philosophy of art being integral to our lives continues to be relevant today. Former Open House artist Harold Offeh will be chatting with Anna Cutler, who previously was Director for Learning and research at Tate-hope you can join us!

Join us for an in conversation between author Anna Cutler and artist Harold Offeh as they discuss the themes of Cutler's new book 'Held by a Thread'. The speakers will discuss the importance of art education, creative expression, and the power of art to transform lives.

Aged 4 - 21 and live or go to school in Cambridge? The get painting!

📣 Kettle's Yard Open Call!

Are you a young artist (aged 4-21), living or studying in Cambridge? We want to see your art for our upcoming exhibition 'Paint What Matters! Art by Children & Young People in Cambridge'. 🎨

Artworks must be 2D and can be in any artistic style or medium, and should represent what matters to you today - from local to global issues; from your home to our shared planet; from love for families, friends and communities to concern for nature, animals and the environment. We want your artworks to fill our gallery walls! 🖼️

The open call will be open from Monday 14 October 2024 - 27 January 2025. We would encourage you to submit your entries as soon as possible, as spots will be filled on a first come first served basis and we have limited space. ⏳

'Paint What Matters', will be a unique exhibition at Kettle’s Yard celebrating the talent and creativity of children and young people in Cambridge, running from 26 February – 9 March 2025 ⭐
