The boiler is finally out of the car park (happy Hazel), crane had to set up and move it to the end of the Archive Building then he squeezed down into the yard at the end of the Steam Shed and lifted over Archive Romm and into the alleway. With a bit of juggling it is not almost down to the pad.

Next job will be to skate onto the concrete pad.

The yellow peril has been in action today moving the new 11 ton cappucino machine for the shop.

Donated by Johnsons Cleaners (more on that in a future post) the new kettle is 3 times bigger than current one so we can finally steam the Browett & Lindley and paddle steamer properly.

Being lifted into place tomorrow but a bit tight for Easter now so probably not in steam until the first of the Bank Holidays.

2006 Cochran Wee Chieftain, 9000lbs/hr for the technically minded.

Slow progress as January has been all about paperwork and website work.

All the dirty work is now finished and just need the weather to warm up a few degrees so that we can start painting. All looks a bit plain at the moment, amazing what a difference the floors make.

Still some drains and two exhausts to do then on to the back room to plimb in the i/c engines.

Llyr has now stuck the 12/14 Petter on concrete and is busy on a Crossley.
