With Newcastle 628 back in the depot, this week the team working on it got together and formukated the next few months worth of work to be carried out.

Then cracked straight on with a small amount of that work. A support plate for the N/S Wheel arch panel was stripped back, primed and prepped for top coat and installation back on the vehicle.

Keep an eye out for further updates.

A shunt around the country

From Nottingham to London, from Bournemouth to Belfast, from Derby to Newcastle we've been shunting buses from all over the country this weekend to allow for the next set of depot works to take place.

An inspection and service for Nottingham 578 and Bournemouth 202 and for 628 to re-enter the depot for the major works on the rear end to continue.

Keep an eye out for further updates on all these buses.

A Bank Holiday weekend well spent in Nottingham.

After weeks of preparation, this weekend was all about bringing everything together for Nottingham 578 — and what a result.

Our team has done a fantastic job completing the lower deck revitalisation, and she’s looking better than ever.

A huge thank you to everyone involved. We’re looking forward to seeing 578 back in service very soon.

Also, keep your eyes peeled… we’ve heard Newcastle 628 could be returning to the depot shortly.

Another Nottingham 578 Progress Report...

Work on the offside today with the blocks for the seats fitted and the side panels fitted ready for the seats to go in.

A test fit for the floor treads on the nearside, painting the rest of the floor treads for the offside and the edging for the floor traps.

Oh and the floor laths are back in the depot and ready for varnish.

A successful weekend all in all.
