✈️✈️Opening Hours Update for East Midlands Aeropark ✈️✈️

We are now operating our full normal summer timetable opening Thursday Saturday Sunday from 11am to 5pm last admission 4pm.

However to kick things off this week Thursday 28th May we are going to operate a late evening opening until 9pm last admission 8pm.

Come along and enjoy some early summer sunshine and enjoy our great aircraft collection ✈️✈️

You will pass through our new entrance gatehouse and be able to visit out new shop and snack bar the "Aeropark Cabin" 🌞

Hello from East Midlands Aeropark Aviation Museum.

Come along and enjoy a sunny bank holiday weekend with us here at the Aeropark.

As well as enjoying the beautiful weather come and enjoy our new gatehouse entrance experience and then pop in to the new "Aeropark Cabin" our brand new shop and snack bar. Did you know we now sell sandwiches, Rustlers Burgers and Rustlers Chicken Subs not to mention McCain Quick Chips plus our usual range of drinks and snacks and of course Ice creams.

Now also open again on Thursdays.

We cannot wait to welcome you along to the Aeropark this bank holiday weekend.

We are pleased to announce that we will be operating from our BRAND NEW entrance gatehouse and shop/snack bar.

Come along and have a great day out at the Aeropark in what looks to be a great weather bank holiday weekend and celebrate with us on opening our new visitor facilities.

This also means we will additionally be opening on Thursdays again from Thursday 28th May (Note also a late opening on May 28th until 9pm)

And the Supercar event on Sunday 24th wow what a weekend 🏎️🚗✈️🌞

✈️✈️ Aeropark Opening Hours ✈️✈️

The Aeropark is a registered charity to preserve cold war era aircraft and the history that has built up around them.

The Aeropark is run by the "Aeropark Volunteers Association" with it's team of unpaid volunteers and as such we depend completely on their free time and enthusiasm to run every aspect of the Aeropark.

With any small team of volunteers there are only a limited amount of days that we are able to open. A normal summer timetable for the Aeropark is Thursdays/Saturdays/Sundays from April to September plus all bank holidays. The winter season is Saturdays/Sundays from October to March no bank holidays.

This year we are very fortunate to be able to improve the facilities at the Aeropark with a new entrance gatehouse and new shop/café. These works are taking place right now and will go on until the end of May. During this time we are not able to open Thursdays while contractors work Monday to Friday to bring the new improved facilities.
We are planning on opening on Thursdays from May 28th onwards running our normal summer timetable from this date onwards.

The only way we could hope to open more days is with a much larger team of volunteers. If you think you would like to volunteer are at least 18 years of age and can commit to 12 volunteering days per year please get in touch and pop down to the Aeropark and have a chat.

For everyone out there that has asked about school holidays we would dearly love to open the whole time but as you can now see we just do not have the volunteers to make this happen at present.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during our improvement works and we hope to see you soon.

Come and enjoy a family day out open Good Friday 3rd April through to Easter Monday 6th April from 11am to 5pm (last admission 4pm) on all 4 days.
