Thank you to everyone who joined us over the weekend to go "Wild About Wool". With fantastic displays from sheepdogs Meg & Tig, felting demonstrations, making our own wool creations, discovering the role of wool in WW1, advice from the COAM creative crafters, sock making machines and atmospheric country music, what a lovely time to be at the museum!

We’ve had a couple of extra helping hands around the Museum this week… although they’re looking a little on the bony side. 💀

Meet Kelli the Skelli and Del the Skel, who’ve been busy lending a hand with a few jobs around site ahead of Halloween.

Keep an eye out over the next few weeks to see what else they get up to… we’re not entirely convinced they can be trusted to get much work done. 👀🎃

50 Years of COAM – 2015🎉
2015 saw the release of the Museum’s newest guidebook, helping visitors explore COAM’s buildings, stories, and collections in even greater detail. Since then we’ve expanded our interpretation digitally, using the Bloomberg Connects app to upload all the extra information, videos, and pictures that we can’t fit in the guidebook or the written signs around the museum.

Have a look through the covers of our previous guidebooks.
