Calling all teachers. See the poster below for details of a great new workshop for you to bring your class to. Working alongside re-enactors from the Freemen of Gwent we have created an interactive and immersive workshop that explores how Abergavenny Castle prepared for the siege of Owain Glyndwr in June 1404. The workshop offers great opportunities for developing creative and higher order thinking, problem solving and communication skills, as well as enabling pupils to gain knowledge and understanding of Welsh history.
Places are limited so early booking is advised.

Good News! Both The Nelson Museum Monmouth and Abergavenny Museum will re-open tomorrow - Sunday 4 March! We look forward to seeing you! Apologies that Chepstow Museum will remain closed.
