The Gallery at the Guild We are a co-operative of artists and craftspeople living and working around Chipping Campden who steward our own gallery space. Come and meet us! R.

Chipping Campden., the “jewel of The Cotswolds”, is well known as the home of C. Ashbee’s world renowned Guild of Handicrafts which occupied The Guild Workshops from 1902 to 1908. Indeed, the Guild is still represented at the property through Hart’s Goldsmiths and Silversmiths. Attracted by the history of the building and Campden’s excellent reputation throughout the arts and crafts movement, a ne

w cooperative of more than a dozen artists and artisans moved into The Guild Workshops in 2005, bringing a variety of contemporary and traditional craftspeople together. This outstanding local co-operative now comprises 27 members covering a wide range of media from cabinet making to stone carving, ceramics to wood turning, art to textiles, metal work to photography and reclaimed materials to sculpture!

New Light brings together four artists working across different media, each approaching their practice from a distinct perspective. Whilst their motivations and methods vary, the works are united by a shared sense of exploration, whether of ideas, materials, or ways of seeing. Collectively, the exhibition reflects moments of change, discovery, and re-imagining. New Light offers visitors space for reflection, dialogue, and the possibility of seeing something anew.
