The first of the works from the late Pat White collection are starting to be posted on our website today so we start by showcasing with this incredibly rare Wigan street scene.
The Wigan scenes are always some of his most sought after and this example is particularly rare. Dating from the late 1950s, this wonderful depiction of School Street is painted on plywood and titled to the reverse in pencil.
A wonderfully rare early example of one of his best subject matters.
