We're now halfway through our Midsummer Exhibition at the Malthouse Gallery in Lyme Regis and have been delighted to welcome so many visitors through the doors already.

If you have not had a chance to visit yet, there is still plenty of time. The gallery is filled with original artwork inspired by the natural world, alongside prints, greetings cards and handcrafted gifts from five artists working across a range of styles and mediums.

Here are a few photographs from the exhibition to give you a glimpse of what is on display.

We are open daily until 25th June, 10.00am to 4.30pm at the Malthouse Gallery, The Town Mill, Lyme Regis DT7 3PU.

Our Midsummer Exhibition is coming up soon! 15th to 25th June at the Malthouse Gallery in Lyme Regis (Town Mill DT7 3PU), 10:00 am to 4:30 pm daily.

A range of original artworks, prints, greetings cards and gifts by five artists will be available for you to explore, all focused around our shared love of the natural world.

Free to visit and everyone is welcome. Hope to see you there!

The River Axe Community Exhibition is opening at Seaton Tramway (Seaton Station) this afternoon and is now running until 12th May. Thank you so much to everyone from our studio community who came along to the workshops and contributed work. Do come and see the fruits of our combined labours 🙂

Jurassic Discovery River project update!

After a cracking workshop/plein air drawing session down by Axmouth Harbour today, we're now getting ready to hang the exhibition in Seaton Tramway next week, so.....

BRING US YOUR ARTWORKS! (please)

This is a community exhibition funded by the National Lottery and coordinated by Seaton Jurassic, and absolutely anyone can enter work to be displayed. You don't need to have been on any of the workshops to join in.

Simply bring your artwork (unframed/unmounted is absolutely fine) to: Kerry at Jurassic Discovery on the Underfleet, Seaton (drop off during normal opening hours), or Anna and Alex at Umborne Bridge Studio, Colyton, before Monday 27th April. We'll be in the studio Tuesday (9.30 - 3.30), Weds (11-2), Thurs (12 noon-8.30pm) and Fri (9.30-2)

Evening course alert!

Hi, it's Anna here. From 23rd April I'm running a four week course - Painting for Relaxation and Calm and there are a few spaces left if you fancy joining me in the studio for a super-chilled out, fun painting class.

Thursdays, 6pm-8.30pm, 23/30 April and 7/14 May.

We'll be completing a mini art project each week, all materials provided and plenty of biscuits and tea too. This class is perfect for absolute beginners and improvers too. Price for the four weeks is £95 with everything you will need included. Free parking right outside the door too.
