Well done to The Corsham School! I am looking forward to taking a closer look. I hope you enjoyed designing and painting it.

It's taken longer than we thought to get it installed, but today the first of the sheep decorated by our schools has arrived at the Cross Keys junction. Decorated by students at The Corsham School, the sheep features designs representing the school's four houses: Burlington, Freestone, Hazelbury and Stockwell. This latest member of the flock will be on the plinth until the New Year, when Neston School's sheep, inspired by the artist Piet Mondrian, will take over. After that it will be Corsham Regis' turn, with our other schools, and Corsham Youth Zone, each having the opportunity to get involved in due course.

If you'd like to get a closer view of our original 'bronze' Corsham Sheep, Jonathan Sanders of Sanders Painting and Sculpture, who designed the sheep for us, will have it on display at his gallery (now at 64 High Street, Sutton Benger) during the Peacock Arts Trail, 4-12 October.
