Bronafallen Care Home Ltd Bronafallen is registered with the Care Standards Inspectorate for Wales for eleven residents and provides care for the needs of the elderly with Dementia.

Bronafallen is a homely EMI residential care home in the rural area of Uwchaled. We are situated in a quiet location on the A5 next to open fields yet minutes from the village of Cerrig Y Drudion. Bronafallen is registered with the Care Standards Inspectorate for Wales for eleven residents and provides care for the physical, emotional and psychological needs for the elderly with dementia.

We are looking to recruit a new member to our Team providing meals, treats and snacks for 11 Individuals in our care. The ideal candidate should be able to cook basic home-cooked meals.
Previous cooking experience in a commercial kitchen not needed.
Hours of Work: Total 32 hours a week, 9:30am - 6:00pm (with 30 mins break), over 4 days on a rota basis, to include every other weekend. Rate of pay £12.00 per hour.

The right person would be able to cook home-cooked meals from scratch, be reliable and considerate to our Individuals. Qualities such as a passion for learning and self-development are more desirable to us than previous cooking experience. We would support you in obtaining the relevant qualifications should you so wish.
Our philosophy is that with the right care and consideration people can live well, and thrive in their autumn years. Food is a big part of that, and we hope that our Individuals get great pleasure from their meals.
