It is Krazy Race time again. Please note Crewe Heritage Centre is CLOSED Sunday 24th May 2026 as we are takling part in the Krazy Races - see more here - https://www.krazyraces.co.uk/crewe-krazy-races/ come along and support us.
We are racing out Inter-City 12.5 again to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the High Speed Train (HST).
A Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flypast will take to the skies above Crewe, bringing a truly iconic moment of British aviation history to the event.
Alongside this, visitors will also be able to enjoy a stunning classic car showcase featuring around 40 vintage vehicles from Italian AutoMoto Club, adding a nostalgic celebration of automotive heritage.

As part of the greening initiative on the Crewe Heritage Centre Miniature Railway at Crewe Heritage Centre we have had a new gnome take up residence.

For the 2026 season we have souvenir tickets for the kids when they ride the Crewe Heritage Centre Miniature Railway . Visit us on a weekend or bank holiday when kids go free for entry to the centre. And look at the punch out. How cool is that.

Out with the old and in with the new! Ready for the start of our 2026 season we have a new shed for storing some of our rolling stock up at Spider Bridge. We are looking at "Spider Shed" as the name of our new building.

Great news for 2026 kids go free at weekends at Crewe Heritage Centre

We are excited to announce that when we reopen on 1 April we will be a Kids Go Free museum!

That's a whopping saving of £6 per child compared to visiting in 2025! So if you are looking for a great family friendly place to visit and your little ones love railways, ice cream, dressing up, crafting and having space to be inquisitive and have fun, we would love to welcome you this season. Whether you're a regular or a newbie, we are working hard to make sure there are lots of new things for you to explore. Find us in the centre of Crewe on Vernon Way just behind Tesco.
