It was a special day today at Crewe Heritage Centre as we welcomed Joshua, his Mum and Nan and took them down to unveil the new sign that marks Joshua Junction and recognises Josh's amazing contribution to our little railway. So watch out the next time you are on the train and departing Forge End for Spider Bridge as you pass over Joshua Junction.

This is Josh. He is a regular visitor to Crewe Crewe Heritage Centre and always comes for a ride on Crewe Heritage Centre Miniature Railway. Well what a weekend that was celebrating Crewe Day at Crewe Heritage Centre with the amazing team from Foxfield Miniature Railway. Here we see the guys hard at work getting the locos ready. Looking forward to doing this again and once again a big thank you.

You have smart and you have smart smart. Well our recent visitors to Crewe Heritage Centre were in the second category. Smart in the dress department and smart in the brain department as we welcomed students and staff from Crewe Engineering & Design Utc for their 2026 Prom.

If you have visited recently you may have noticed Norcliff has not been out pulling trains recently.
The petrol engines that drive our locos are air cooled and what do we do? We put them in a big metal box.
To help keep the engine cool we have a fan but we are now putting large grills on either side of Norcliff's engine to provide a much bigger flow of air to cool the engine.
And in addition Norcliff has got a brand new petrol engine to drive the hydraulics that powers the locomotive.
We hope to get the new engine fitted this weekend and then we can get Norcliff out and undertake testing before allowing her to pull our trains.
