Today is Geoff's last day of his mammoth sponsored bike ride from Land's End to John o'Groats, and what a journey it's been. Thankfully he's only had one slight hiccup with his bike, had to contend with a whole host of weather conditions, but today's weather looks perfect! Enjoy the ride!

Fantastic first session for home educated families enabled by Royal Society funding: Potters and Pottery. We mapped the Potteries and its natural resources, made our case loudly in the pulpit for better working conditions, hunted ceramics and got sweaty as mould runners, and created our own beautiful clay creations!

All of the proceeds from the world-famous go to support Englesea Brook Chapel & Museum and the work that we do here. So if you are looking to buy some secondhand books this bank holiday weekend...

Good news, book lovers everywhere! For the second time this month the world-famous will be open on a Bank Holiday Monday, that's this Monday, 25th May, 10am to 2pm. AND we are still open this Friday and Saturday as normal, 10am to 2pm. How lucky are you? If you are a book lover, very lucky indeed! Don't let this opportunity pass you by (although if you can't make it, don't worry, as we will be open the following week as normal, Friday and Saturday, 10am to 2pm). Come and have a browse.

Unfortunately we have had to postpone our Day Of Drama event scheduled for Wednesday 27th May.

Lovely to welcome Geoff and Jane back to the Cheshire South circuit, albeit briefly. He's doing well, enjoying the ride although the weather could be kinder! The whole group were cheered on as they passed Audlem Methodist Church, thanks to the members there for offering hospitality. He's got 400 miles under his belt, still not quite halfway. Will keep you posted on his progress. Please do sponsor him to cheer him on through the winds, rain and hail!
