Today we welcome Steve and Lisa with their very rare Foden half cab coach here at the museum all day. πŸ™ŒπŸΌ
The coach is only one of its kind with a Plaxton body built in 1948 and was regularly used to take trips from Uppingham to resorts on the East Coast. 🌊

Join renowned transport historian and commentator David Leeder at the National Tramway Museum on Friday 11th September for the Annual Geoffrey Claydon Memorial Lecture: β€˜The Modern British Tramcar Journey – From Revival to Revolution’.

David will explore the story of Britain’s modern tramways, from the Tyne and Wear Metro and Docklands Light Railway to the Midland Metro, as well as asking some intriguing questions about the future of light rail.
