Visitors really were spoilt for choice - no wonder so many received a remarkable number of votes including these paintings by Matt Pearce, Matt Williams Artist Nick Pritchard and reduction lino by Martin Truefitt-Baker Art It is a glorious exhibition which will continue until 11 July

We normally post the TOP TEN in the Open Art Visitors' Choice award, but this year the votes have been so close with many a tie so that we will post all the visitors' favourites in batches. Jantien Powell (Newgale Jewels) and Anthony Skates Painter (Bluebell Woods near LLandogo) tied for the first place, but were very closely followed by Alan Braddon (Derek), Helen Crawford Textiles and Mixed Media (Early Bluebells) and (Gorse Walking to Aberporth) Visitors were definitely spoilt for choice.

There's a first! The Crickhowell Open Art Visitors' Choice results are in after much counting of voting slips and.... it's a tie! Sharing the prizemoney this year are Jantien Powell Jantien Powell and Anthony Skates Painter and may we add - not for the first time. Many congratulations and a huge thank you to our visitors for taking the time engage with so many works of art before casting their vote.

Many congratulations to the Crickhowell Open Art 2026 prize winners! Choosing winners from such an array of art is no mean feat when there is so many beautiful pieces on display. Visitors to the Oriel Cric Gallery and VisitCrickhowell will still have time over the next two days to vote for their favourite to be awarded the Visitors' Choice Award. Come to enjoy the exhibition and all the other studios taking part in the Crickhowell Open Studios and Galleries Congratulations to The Overall winner who is Sally Hamer with Heavenly Face, Mynydd Bach Quiet by Sarah Jones won the Acrylic/Oil prize, Angela Dooley the Watercolour Prize with A Tolkien Mirkwood, Martin Truefitt-Baker the Printmaker Prize with Over the Bridge, Sophie Mayled the prize for Welsh lady and Stuart Lloyd the prize for Birds bathing

A new venue for Crickhowell Open Studios and Galleries at Antur Brew Co Venue n0 4 with the exciting site specific paintings by is a much anticipated prospect with the added bonus of early opening on Friday (midday till 9pm) ( Check the brochure for opening times!) Enjoy this unusual exhibition inspired by the beauty of the tools of the craft while lingering over a drink or enjoying the food on offer. Don't miss it!
