A huge shout-out to all the volunteers at Amgueddfa Dinbych / Denbigh Museum & Archive!

Our passionate team of volunteers work hard to preserve Denbigh’s rich heritage and make it accessible for everyone to enjoy. Their passion, commitment, and hours of hard work help ensure that the stories of our town are protected and shared with future generations.

Volunteers take on a wide range of responsibilities, including archiving historical materials, planning exhibitions, organising community talks and events, welcoming visitors, marketing our activities, and much more.

We are currently working towards the opening of our relocated museum at the Buttermarket in winter 2026/27. Behind the scenes, the team is busy preparing for launch; developing exciting new projects that will inspire and engage the local community.

We look forward to growing as a valued community resource and a key attraction for visitors to Denbigh. Thank you to every volunteer for your enthusiasm, dedication, and support—you are the heart of everything we do.

DIOLCH enfawr i holl wirfoddolwyr Amgueddfa ac Archif Dinbych!

Mae ein tîm brwdfrydig o wirfoddolwyr yn gweithio’n galed i warchod treftadaeth gyfoethog Dinbych a’i gwneud yn hygyrch i bawb ei mwynhau. Mae eu brwdfrydedd, eu hymrwymiad, a’u horiau lawer o waith caled yn helpu i sicrhau bod straeon ein tref yn cael eu diogelu a’u rhannu gyda chenedlaethau’r dyfodol.

Mae gwirfoddolwyr yn ymgymryd ag ystod eang o gyfrifoldebau, gan gynnwys archifo deunyddiau hanesyddol, cynllunio arddangosfeydd, trefnu sgyrsiau a digwyddiadau cymunedol, croesawu ymwelwyr, hyrwyddo ein gweithgareddau, a llawer mwy.

Ar hyn o bryd rydym yn gweithio tuag at ail agor ein hamgueddfa, sydd wedi’i hadleoli i’r Farchnad Fenyn, yn ystod gaeaf 2026/27. Y tu ôl i’r llenni, mae’r tîm yn brysur yn paratoi ar gyfer yr agoriad; yn datblygu prosiectau newydd cyffrous a fydd yn ysbrydoli ac yn ymgysylltu â’r gymuned leol.
