If you're coming along to our exhibition next week, here is some parking, transport and entrance information:
Entrance and Drop Offs - There is step free access to the entrances at the front and back of the building âUniversity of Derby, Markeaton Street Campusâ via Pybus Street and Markeaton Street.
(no parking on Markeaton Street itself).
Nearby Parking - Permitless parking available after 6pm (dependent on availability) on Pybus Street, Chandos Pole Street, Colvile Street and Manchester Street.
Extra parking - There is parking at Markeaton Park for a small fee, which is roughly an 11 minute walk away from the exhibition. The U2 unibus stops at Markeaton Park and also stops at the top of Pybus Street (just after the Royal School for the Deaf) for closer access to the exhibition.
Public Transport - The âSwiftâ bus runs from Derby City Centre (or Uttoxeter/Ashbourne from the other direction) to near the top of Pybus Street. (Timetable can be found on the TrentBarton website).
There is also the U1 Unibus (City centre to Kedleston campus) and U2 (Kedleston campus through to Markeaton Street) free for University of Derby students, and a standard bus fare for everyone else. (Timetables can be found on the TrentBarton website).
