Born in Derby, I have always loved art from an early age, but never had enough time, however after the children were grown up I decided to learn more about the subject. I have studied at Derby College where I qualified for my Dipoma,I enjoyed developing my work in the form of print, paint and collage,where I specialised with figurative form. I have had serveral exhibitions at the Brewhouse Burton

on Trent, Snibston Discovery park an Leicestershire, Melbourne Contemporary Arts in Melbourne, Gallery 52 Brailsford, The Amber House Art Gallery in Derbyshire, Viv Artist at King Edwards School Surrey. Recently I have produced a body of work concentrating more on wild flowers and meadow sceens with mixed medium on large canvases and board.I particularly like wild flowers such as Thistles, Poppies and Daisies in vibrant colours as they remind me of my childhood and the long summer days.
