We are an enthusiastic group of people with a shared interest in the history of Dereham and the surrounding areas. We wish to improve our own knowledge and understanding of how Dereham came to be what it is now, and share it with others. We believe that this will make Dereham a more enjoyable place to live, work, and visit.

Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday evening for a journey back to Tudor England 🌹 Chanter’s Jigge kept us all royally entertained with their debut performance of ‘A Tudor Portrait’, filled with Elizabethan music, stories and good cheer 🎶🍺

What an incredible day! Dereham Day 2026 was bigger and better than ever 🥳❤️

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by our stall - not only did we raise over £110 for Dereham Heritage Trust, we debuted our new gazebo and got to meet so many lovely people - including some very tenacious young footballers and plenty of archaeologists in the making! 🔎

Thank you to all the organisers and volunteers who worked so hard to make the day possible 💙 We can’t wait to do it all again next year! 🎉🎈
