🔥 THE NIGHT THAT CHANGED ISLAM FOREVER | ISRA WAL MI‘RAJ 🌙

One journey. One night. One command that defines our lives.

On the darkest night of hardship, Allah ﷻ honoured His Beloved ﷺ with the greatest journey ever known to mankind — from Makkah to Jerusalem, and beyond the heavens

This was not a dream.
This was not imagination.
This was a divine miracle.

🌌 What happened on the Night of Isra wal Mi‘raj?

• The Prophet ﷺ travelled from Masjid al-Haram to Masjid al-Aqsa

• He ascended through the seven heavens
• He met the Prophets (peace be upon them all)
• He witnessed signs no human had ever seen
• Salah was gifted directly from Allah ﷻ

🕋 Why this night matters to YOU

• Salah is your daily Mi‘raj
• Hardship is never the end — honour follows patience
• Closeness to Allah ﷻ is not through status, but through sujood
• When the world rejects you, Allah calls you upward

📖 Isra wal Mi‘raj in the Qur’an

“Glory be to Him who took His servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al-Aqsa…”

📖 Surah al-Isra (17:1) — the opening of Juz 15

And in Surah an-Najm (53:13–18), Allah ﷻ describes the ascension and the greatest signs shown to His Messenger ﷺ.

🤲 Final reflection

If Allah raised His Prophet ﷺ to the heavens through obedience,
then salah is the ladder by which we rise.

Lanarkshire Muslim Welfare Society proudly hosted the Kiswa Arts & Culture Gallery, welcoming around 2,500 visitors for a truly historic and spiritually uplifting exhibition

Rare artefacts from the Holy Kaaba and Madinah were displayed, including Kaaba door covers, keys, Hizam belts, lamps, and other priceless pieces — a once-in-a-lifetime experience for many

The day began with a beautiful Qur’an recitation by Hafiz Yusuf, who also played a major role in curating throughout the exhibition. The curating was shaped around the audience, making it engaging and accessible for all ages

Families and children loved it, finding it highly educational and inspiring, learning about Islamic art, culture, history, and heritage

With scholars, community leaders, volunteers, and dignitaries in attendance — including former SNP MP Steve Bonner — the exhibition stood as a powerful moment of faith, learning, and unity
