Anna Bowen Craft Lettering Lettering designed and executed by hand in own letterforms. Brush lettering and relief carvings.

My training in the USA was in traditional brush lettering and relief carving so this is the majority of my work. However I now create contemporary lettering - often with the brush and pens - and engrave glass with a pendant drill. I’m a carver with the Lettering and Commemorative Arts Trust I teach at the Burngate Centre near Langton Matravers and at my workshop.

UK stone carving amateur ? One off special five-day relief carving course at the popular Burngate Stone Centre overlooking Swanage Bay on the beautiful Isle of Purbeck in Dorset.
10 - 14 November 2025.
This course is offered to early-career stone-carvers and masons, or aspirational amateurs who can demonstrate a high level of potential and commitment to their practice (through CV and photographic evidence) for grant subsidised cost of just £50.
