Free vintage bus rides between Walmer Green and the Museum.

A rare opportunity to enjoy a ride on a vintage bus for all of the family and it's free!

In addition visitors to the museum can enjoy entry at special concessionary rates of Β£5 for adults and Β£3 for children.

You can pop on and off the buses at the published stops throughout the day but be sure to enjoy refreshments at the museum's Truckstop cafe where a full catering service will be available

Museum annual tickets are valid for the day.

Visitors of all ages should come along to this 2 day event when the museum is re-shaped to feature many types of transport models.

The boating lake will feature both on and under water models and there are additional model railways, indoor road model layouts and some fantastic military vehicle and road haulage model vehicles roaming the grounds.

Normal ticket prices apply for visitors, and annual tickets are valid for both days.

A full catering service will be available.

This event is being held in the museum grounds and free tickets should be booked online through Eventbrite.

We are pleased to announce that the National Collection of Ashford made Norman Motorcycles is now available for visitors to view.

This is the largest collection of Norman motorcycles anywhere in the world and are featured in our purpose built exhibition area.

The museum is honoured to host the collection of iconic, locally made machines.

Do come along and enjoy this fascinating new exhibit.

πŸš‚πŸš‚ St Thomas gets a new lease of lifeπŸš‚πŸš‚

Just in time for the good weather our ex Snowdown Colliery locomotive 'St Thomas' is once again available to access by our visitors following a lengthy period of refurbishment.

Climb into the cab and experience life as a steam engine driver helped by some additional audio and visual features.

St Thomas is resplendent in its new paintwork where even the coal has had a makeover. Kids of all ages will love it so come along and be among the first to enjoy a refreshed St Thomas locomotive.

Sunday April 26th

As a nominated venue for the national Drive It Day and Ride It Day event please drop by with your classic car or motorbike and spend as long as you like at the museum.

Our usual catering service is available all day and all event entrants have free entry to the museum for the day. A Β£5 donation is encouraged.

Normal museum rates apply to visitors and annual tickets are valid.

Classic entries from 9.30am and visitors from 10.30am
