This coming Saturday, 8th July, we're celebrating the birthday of John Paul Jones in the place where the amazing story began. Admission is free for the day and we've got music from Foot Stompin' Ceilidh Band to enjoy. It will be the perfect occasion to discover this historic gem on the Solway coast.

Due to unexpected staff shortages, we regret that we won't be able to open the museum or cottage on Sunday 18th June. We apologise for any disappointment or inconvenience.

The museum is otherwise open daily from 10.30am to 5pm.
