I took part in this workshop. Great group of folk sharing their ideas and experience. The East Lothian Climate Hub team are punching way above their weight. Challenging but exciting times ahead. Here’s to the future that the Hub and climate, nature and biodiversity communities can help deliver. 👏💪

What does it take to build and sustain area-wide organisations that successfully enable community climate action projects to begin and thrive?

Happy John Muir Day 💚

Conservationist, author and Father of National Parks John Muir was born 188 years ago in Dunbar, Scotland.

John Muir was passionate about wild places. He explored them, wrote about them and campaigned to protect them. Muir believed in protecting wild places – for their own sake, and for the wellbeing of people and wildlife.

This year the John Muir Trust are celebrating that legacy by asking you to take an extra 21 minutes in wild places, using this time to reflect, appreciate and unwind in nature.

We’d love it if you could join us in taking this extra time. Let us know what you decide to do in the comments below! Tag us in your posts and stories about your 21 minutes and we'll share them.

You can then take the extra step to protect wild places by taking advantage of our £21 John Muir Day membership offer, down from £46: https://shorturl.at/ktIc4
