Exhibition on Screen returns to DCA on Tuesday 15 September with James McNeill Whistler.

Considered by some to be one of the great innovators of 19th century art, he was a contemporary of the Impressionists, much admired by Van Gogh and Manet.

Tate Britain is now holding the first major retrospective of Whistler in three decades. This will be an unmissable chance to get to know this visually spectacular artist and the influence he has had on those who followed.

There's some wonderful work on display in Create Space, including a lovely tribute to Dolly Parton.

Created in our Print Studio and with our Learning team, these drawings, paintings and prints are the result of our summer sessions with Tayside Healthcare Arts Trust (THAT), a charity that uses art to support people living with long-term health conditions.

We are teaming with Abertay University's DARE Academy, with six undergraduate development teams presenting their games, alongside a host of new and returning developers. Whatever genre or style you're into, there's something for everyone. Drop in and Play is sponsored by Ninja Kiwi.

We were delighted to welcome Máiri McAllan, Cabinet Secretary for Education, Culture and Gaelic, to DCA yesterday. We enjoyed giving her a tour of the building and discussing our plans for the future, including a chance to spend some time in Create Space hearing all about the incredible work the Learning team do and a sneak peek of France-Lise McGurn’s print edition in DCA Print Studio.
