A huge thanks to our friends at Shed47 Railway Restoration Group for their kind offer of help painting today, and all other SVBM volunteers who have been involved in the Exhibition Hall floor painting project so far.

We're really excited to see how this will freshen the building up. Hopefully with some other changes, we can continue the brilliant work that's been done previously to make the Hall more engaging, and varied year to year!

Some members of the SVBM attended museum Trustee and lifelong supporter, Dave Hoare's funeral service in Gloucestershire today.

It was a very fitting tribute to a fantastic man with three of his vehicles in attendance.

Our thanks to Chepstow Classic Buses for organising such a lovely ceremony to remember Dave, and say goodbye.

Some of Dave's resident vehicles at Lathalmond will be outside on display on Sunday's Celebration of Transport event.
