Our friends at Candoco Dance Company are inviting applications for Choreo Accelerator, a new opportunity for D/deaf, disabled and neurodivergent choreographers to develop an ambitious new commission with artistic, producing and touring support.

One choreographer will work with the dancers and creative team of their choice, with the finished work touring nationally.

The TIN Team are officially out of office until 7 September, leaving the TIN Dance House in the very capable hands of our trusty contractors while the building works continue.

We’ll respond to any messages and emails when we’re back on 7 September, ready for the final push...

Because when we return, the ONE WEEK countdown to opening begins! 👀

We can’t wait to show you what’s been happening while we’ve been away and, even more importantly, to finally welcome you through the doors of our new home.

Due to the latest weather forecast, we've made the decision to move today's IncludFEST event indoors to Spennymoor Town Hall.

The event will still run from 12pm to 4pm, with the same fantastic programme of performances, dance workshops and creative activities.

This decision has been made to help keep everyone safe, comfortable and able to enjoy the day whatever the weather brings.

We look forward to welcoming everyone to Spennymoor Town Hall today.

Four weeks today! 🎉

In just four weeks, we’ll be opening the doors to TIN Dance House and welcoming our participants into the building for the very first time!

There’s been lots of progress already, but there’s still plenty to do. We’re working hard each day to get everything ready for you, and we can’t wait to welcome you into our new home 🏠

A huge thank you to Biffa and Jewson for supporting the refurbishment of our new home, TIN Dance House.

Biffa kindly provided us with a complimentary skip, and Jewson Spennymoor generously donated paint and decorating supplies to help transform the space.

Support like this makes a real difference, helping us invest more into creating an accessible, welcoming space.

Thank you for helping us bring TIN Dance House to life.

Great news!

Following this morning's weather check, IncludFEST will go ahead today at Victoria Jubilee Park, Spennymoor.

The forecast shows that we're good to go, so we'll see you from 12pm to 4pm for an afternoon of free performances, dance workshops and creative activities.

As always, we'd recommend dressing for the weather and bringing waterproofs just in case of the odd shower.

We can't wait to see you there!

We're keeping a close eye on tomorrow's weather forecast ahead of IncludFEST.

We'll review the latest forecast at 8:00am tomorrow morning and make a final decision by 9:00am on whether the event will take place at Victoria Jubilee Park or move to Spennymoor Town Hall.

We'll share an update across our social media channels as soon as possible after the decision has been made.

Thank you for your patience while we make the safest decision for everyone involved.

What a brilliant start to IncludFEST 2026!
A huge thank you to everyone who came along to Week 1. It was fantastic to see so many families enjoying the performances, getting creative, dancing together and making the most of everything on offer.

A big thank you as well to our incredible artists, partners and everyone behind the scenes who helped make the day such a success.

We'd love to welcome you back this Wednesday, or if you missed the first one, why not come along for the first time?

This week you can enjoy:

• Owl themed arts and crafts
• The Secret Owl Society by Star Bright Arts

Today's the day... we've officially moved!

After many happy years at Framwellgate Moor Community Centre, we've said goodbye to the place that's been home to so many memories.

A huge thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey there. To every participant, family, artist, partner and supporter who came through those doors, you've helped shape TIN Arts into what it is today.

We're now based at:

While we're excited to be in our new home, we're not quite ready to open our doors just yet. There's still plenty of work happening behind the scenes to get everything ready, and we'll let you know as soon as we're able to welcome you in.
