A huge thank you to everyone who visited over the weekend for our B**r & Music festival, we loved seeing everyone again. It takes a huge amount of effort to put the event on, and we couldn’t do it without our wonderful Staff and Volunteers. 🍺

It’s the final day of our B**r & Music Festival! 🎉🍺

After a fantastic weekend, there’s still time to join us today for real ales, c***rs, great food and plenty of railway atmosphere before we wrap things up for another year.

Day three of our B**r & Music Festival is here! 🍺🎶

There’s another full day of real ales, c***rs, food and live music waiting for you at Dereham Station, with bars open throughout the day and plenty of choice to enjoy.

🍔 Grab something to eat with savoury food in the Hangar and our BBQ on the platform, while our Tearoom is open as usual for refreshments, cakes, light bites and more.

Travel through the Norfolk countryside aboard BR Standard 4MT 80078 and BR Class 142!

Our Dereham Station Shop is open too, with railway gifts, souvenirs and memorabilia.

🛤️COUNTY SCHOOL
County School Station Tea Room is open today and the miniature railway will also be running, adding even more railway fun to your visit!

🍻 B**R FESTIVAL | SATURDAY 29TH AUGUST 🍻

Day two of our B**r & Music Festival is here! 🎉 And there’s plenty happening at the Mid-Norfolk Railway this Saturday.

🍺 Real ales & c***rs from local breweries and producers, with bars at Dereham, Thuxton, Hardingham and Kimberley Park, as well as an on-train bar to enjoy during your journey. 🚂

🎤 Lee Vasey – afternoon session
🎸 The Dividers – evening session

🍔 There’s also food available throughout the festival, so you can grab something to eat while enjoying a drink and the live music. Our Tearoom is open as usual, alongside additional food options at the festival.

🚂 Today’s trains: BR Class 142 & BR Class 47 will be in service, giving you the chance to enjoy a journey through the Norfolk countryside as part of your B**r Festival day out.

Join us on Saturday 31st October for a spooktacular day aboard our heritage BR Class 142, travelling from Wymondham Abbey Halt to “Haunted Hardingham” Station.

Your £7.50 ticket includes your return journey and access to plenty of Halloween fun at Haunted Hardingham, including:

We’re running as usual today, with our BR Class 142 in service, giving you the perfect opportunity to combine a heritage railway journey with a visit to the B**r Festival. 🚂

Join us at Dereham for our free to attend annual B**r Festival, celebrating real ales and c***rs from across the country, alongside some fantastic local breweries. 🍻

🎃 TOMORROW! | Halloween Express 2026 👻

The wait is almost over… tickets for our Halloween Express go on sale TOMORROW at 9am! 🚂🎃
