The framing materials aren’t arriving until tomorrow, but that’s given us plenty of time to reshuffle the shelving and get stuck into a much-needed deep clean after the chaos of Voices Unbound and Christmas orders✨

We also had the pleasure of refurbing two lovely frames - refurbs are such a nice little break from chopping and sanding. New mounts, glass and backing/wiring, and now they’re looking all pretty n stuff❤️‍🔥

And honestly… aren’t we in love with these cosy little corners of the gallery?🥰 pop over to our instagram or website to have a nosey at all the incredible artists behind these works🙌

Happy Belated New Year, gang!!

An undeniable favourite of 2025: Voices Unbound - Pride Edition 🏳️‍🌈💖

We honestly didn’t know how this float and event would turn out, but thanks to the support of our incredible artists, DJs, and music producers, we absolutely blew it out of the park. What a day/night. What a community❤️‍🔥

We are officially back open as usual - getting back into the flow of creating frames and even looking into the next rotation of artists👀

As we wrap up the year, we’re sharing some of our 2025 highlights. (Also a chance for yous to catch up on our shenanigans)!

We officially opened in May - and what a journey it has been! There have been plenty of ups, some downs, and a whole lot of gratitude in between💖

Our first 2025 highlight of the year is an obvious favourite. Getting the keys to the gallery and finally setting up! It took a couple of months, but it was so worth it to see the cute pinkness and fresh white walls come to life. The homies showed up big time for this one, and the gallery truly wouldn’t be as beautiful as it is without this crew💗

Before we jump into our 2025 chaos, here’s the lowdown on our Voices Unbound initiative❤️‍🔥

Voices Unbound started with a simple idea: the art world often ignores marginalised voices. What began as a push to get those voices heard quickly grew into a full-on movement - messy, loud, and unapologetic🕺

It’s about breaking down barriers, connecting underrepresented artists with resources, mentorship, and platforms to actually be seen. What started as an exhibition - transformed into a space for social change, for dealing with mental health, identity, stigma, and everything society tries to sweep under the rug.

Now it spills into immersive experiences, live music, spoken word, and interactive workshops - places where audiences don’t just watch, they take part, make, and collide with the art and each other. Each event is alive, chaotic, and full of the raw, underground energy that fuels our creative communities🙌

From the first spark to full-blown movement, Voices Unbound is about one thing: making sure every voice, no matter how marginalised, is heard, celebrated, and able to shake things up✨️

Hello lovelies!

We have to admit… we’ve completely neglected our Facebook! With the year coming to a close, we’ve decided our goal is to be more active here - and what better place to start than by introducing ourselves?

We’re an independent gallery in the heart of Eastbourne, dedicated to promoting and collaborating with marginalised and underground artists. Our community-led space is made possible through our framing service, offering everything from floating frames and classic wood frames to shadow boxes and hand-personalised pieces. Without our community and the support from framing, we wouldn’t be here - our gratitude is huge!💖

Over the next week or so, we’ll be sharing highlights from 2025, including our gallery opening, Voices Unbound: Pride Edition and Voices Unbound 2.0, and some of the incredible frames we’ve had the joy of creating since we officially opened in May 2025.

I know—I’ve been totally MIA. Between launching a gallery, kicking off a framing service, and starting EMDR therapy, life got wild. But I’m back, and I’m thrilled to finally share what we’ve been working on (you can also find us over on Instagram).

✨Next Saturday, May 10th, marks the official opening of Acid Baby Studios ✨

We’ve curated an incredible line-up of work for a show that means the world to us. But this isn’t just a gallery opening—it’s a celebration of space, community, and powerful creative expression.

And yes… we’re bringing the vibes 🔥

🎧 Bearded Beats will be laying down a killer mix of funk, soul, and old-school hip hop. Then Sinna One will close out the night with deep jungle and drum & bass. You already know it’s going to go off✨

Hello everyone! Just popping in to share a quick update on this page. What started as my attempt at an art account here on Facebook took a backseat while I juggled a few things, but I’m excited to bring it back to life!

I’m a funky lil painter based in Brighton, and I’m thrilled to be in the process of opening my own gallery and framing service in the heart of Eastbourne (opening 27.02.2025)🫶

I’ll be using this space to share regular updates on the gallery and framing services, so stay tuned for more details about what we have to offer.

I have had the lovely teach me the ways of spray painting ready for some future murals! (Big thankyous!)👽 I am still v much figuring it out, but v blessed to be allowed to play about in such a cool space (quite literally n figuratively - it gets a bit nippy there🙈)✨️too excited to see how things unfold✨️ lots of fun had, now lots of rest needed ✨️
