The Adventures of a MuBu Miner

The Adventures of a MuBu Miner The basic remit was to see how coalmining heritage was represented in East Midlands.

The MuBu Coalmining Project Bursary was jointly funded by the Centre for Advanced Studies at the University of Nottingham and the now defunct Renaissance East Midlands. The MuBu (Museum Buddies) Coalmining Heritage Project ran from 2010 to 2012 with the aim of seeing how coalmining heritage was represented in the museums and heritage sectors of the East Midlands. The second part of the Project was

to bring digital aspects to this representation, hence I was dragged, kicking and screaming, into the 21st Century world of social media! LOL

The Project was funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and jointly administered by Centre for Advanced Studies at the University of Nottingham and the now defunct Renaissance East Midlands.
