There is now no access to the textile collection at the Scottish Borders Campus to allow preparation for the move of the collections to the Edinburgh Campus which should be completed by spring 2027. A small selection has been moved to the archives at Edinburgh, for further information contact [email protected].

1966 marks the 60th anniversary of Heriot-Watt University being granted the charter. The Edinburgh School of Arts was founded in 1821 by Leonard Horner and Robert Bryson to expand technical education to working people.
