The gallery displays art-works that has roots in nature – whether in materials, inspiration or thematic elements. Birch tree image is very simple, but powerful: the strong visual and tactile quality of its bark embodies many of the same qualities that differentiates fine-crafts from other a

rts – physicality of the art medium, texture, and time for mastering technical skills to produce the works. The first joint exhibition ‚Semitones‘ will feature subtle colour transitions in wool and crystaline glazes and will showcase works by tapestry weaver Louise Oppenheimer from Argyll and ceramicist Maggie Zerafa from Skye. The future exibitions will include works in wood, glass, stone, clay, mixed media and, also, prints.
