Graduate artist, based in Yorkshire, my art reflects the world around me, addressing pressing
social issues and challenging the status quo. This early exposure ignited my lifelong passion for creative expression. As a multimedia artist, I explore a wide range of mediums, including painting, illustration, sculpture, textiles, and wall mural work. With a First-Class Honours Degree in Contemporary Art, I've had the opportunity to exhibit my work in galleries across the region, including Crossley Gallery Dean Clough, Smith Art Gallery, Brighouse, North Light Gallery Hebden Bridge, and Everybody Arts Gallery Halifax. My work has been recognized with prestigious awards, such as the Public Choice Award at the Calderdale Open exhibition 2024 and my sculptural work has recently been listed as a Finalist for the Visual Art Open New and Emerging Artist award in London. These accolades validate my commitment to creating impactful and thought-provoking pieces. Facilitator
Beyond my studio practice, I am enthusiastic about using art as a tool for personal well-being. I work as a facilitator, delivering art for well-being sessions in various settings, including the NHS, women's centres, colleges, and community drop-in sessions. My belief in the transformative power of art has led me to work for organizations like Hebden Bridge Arts, assisting in the management and delivery of a busy programme of summer events. Projects I have facilitated in the past with community groups have been selected for local art exhibitions, at Crossley Gallery, Dean Clough and as part of Hebden Bridge Arts and the work has been printed in art publications. Which all created powerful opportunities for the makers to see their work viewed by the public.
