Hooton Park is also home to a number of ex Chester Corporation buses. If you are looking for something to do tomorrow, several vintage Chester buses will be operating around their old stomping ground raising money for Cancer Research UK and the Alzheimer’s Society. Any and all support will be greatly appreciated. Please see the attached poster for more details.

More progress to report

- Upper deck railings and decency boards are all but completed.

- Platforms are in a similar state.

Seats - The main focus of activities currently, is fabricating the various fixed and reversible seats for the upper deck. The end bench seats are complete and in the latter stages of being fitted. Meanwhile, the first two reversible seats have been trial assembled to iron out any gremlins in the design. Once we have the process fine tuned, then just another 10 to make….!
