The Old Fire Engine House Restaurant in Ely requires a cook (approx 35 hours) or two cooks (approx 20 hours) including some weekends and evenings. We are a family restaurant which opened in 1968. Our cooking is mainly traditional English, and our food is seasonal and ingredients mostly bought locally. We are looking for someone who will have had some experience in a professional restaurant and what is essential is a passion of good food and the knowledge of how to cook it.

For those who do not know The Old Fire Engine House we are situated in Ely very near the Cathedral. Our restaurant is now in its 57th year. Our menu is mainly English using ingredients which as much as possible are grown or reared locally. Everything is home made.
