Nestled at her waterfront studio "The Watermens Gallery"on Custom House Quay in Falmouth, Cornwall. Sophi enjoys the challenge of trying to bring to life reflections and movement of water in her dramatic seascapes whether it be on wet sand or the water itself and giving the illusion of currents and ripples using different techniques she has mastered with Acrylics and the occasional watercolur and

oil. Please feel free to contact Sophi if you would like to commission her to paint your favourite place at an affordable price, she loves nothing more than putting brush to canvas and endeavouring to capture what mother nature does best of all.

Cracking Morning out on the cliffs today, the gorse is stunning this year & the air filled with the heavy scent of coconut other flowers I saw on my walk were Wild Carrot, Campions, Bluebells, Bladder Campion, Scabias ,good old Foxgloves amongst many & finished off with a visit to see Jack @ North Cliff Dairy where I sell my cards and had the best ice cream I've had in years Black Cherry & Crunch .

Just wanted to thank all my fabulous customers for continued support and patience....Richard is finally out of hospital after 3.5 months and I am still having to do a lot of care at home , so I'm trying to get down to Gallery as much as I can and so grateful for all the trade I have received since I started on Saturday..... I can't give you definite times of opening as I'm continually having carers making appointments through our the week that require both of us to be there... I will do my best to keep you updated xx big thanks to you all for all the support it means so much.

With all this wet weather lately, it’s easy to feel a little grey. 🌧️ But sometimes the rain is the perfect excuse to slow down, pick up a brush, and create something beautiful.

This piece started as a blank canvas on a rainy day — just paint, movement, and a willingness to explore. Art doesn’t need sunshine to bloom. Even on the cloudiest days, you can still create your own light. ✨🎨
