I sold this Moonjar some years back and it looked great on the piano. Two of my closest Friends Bastien Crocq and Jacob Bodilly have graced me with their incredible playing and have sparked a love of the piano in me.

The quest for the ultimate flambée continues.

I’m getting closer but now realise and know how all the parameters have to be aligned.

The clay mix, the ash quality, the generous amount of copper and tin needed, the subtle overlay interplay between the different ash glazes the exact moment for an early reduction, the placing in the kiln.. and yet flambée is still so elusive.

Well done to as her scholarship comes to a close.
No doubt you will be back to Cornwall some time soon. These are very graceful pieces indeed.
