👻 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐀 𝐅𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐂 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐓 𝐃𝐈𝐌𝐁𝐎𝐋𝐀 𝐌𝐔𝐒𝐄𝐔𝐌! 🔎

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us last night for our investigation at Dimbola Museum & Galleries!

What an amazing group of people to spend the evening with. Everyone approached the investigation with enthusiasm, curiosity and an open mind, getting involved in everything we explored together.

Throughout the evening, we experimented with a range of investigative techniques, including scrying, glass divination, the Estes Method, table tipping, EVP recording and dowsing rod divination.

🔎 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞, with some interesting experiences and observations shared by participants. The other experiments also prompted plenty of discussion and gave us lots to reflect on.

During glass divination and the Estes Method, several names were communicated, and one Estes session included a reference to a situation involving one of Dimbola's gallery rooms. These are details we'll be looking at more closely as we review the evening.

Of course, the investigation doesn't end when we leave the building! We still have our EVP recordings, body-camera footage and investigation notes to go through, and we're looking forward to seeing what, if anything, warrants further examination.

For us, these evenings are about more than simply looking for paranormal activity. They're an opportunity to explore unusual experiences, ask questions, experiment together and consider different explanations for what we observe.

Isle of Wight Photographic Society - IWPS is celebrating its 80th anniversary, the symbol for which is the oak.
They have taken “The Oak” as a theme for a members’ challenge: To capture images of anything OAK e.g. trees, leaves, furniture, carvings, timber frames, barrels, doors - to use their imagination.
Thirteen photographers embraced the challenge and a total of 52 images were submitted ranging from straight shots of oak trees, acorns etc. to oak furniture to creative images.

The Oak exhibition is on display in our Studio gallery now until December 5th.
