Garlieston Mulberry Harbour

Garlieston Mulberry Harbour The “Garlieston’s Secret War™” project was instigated in 2000 by Mrs Jane Evans of Penkiln Farm, Garlieston.

The initial phase culminated in the publication of the book, "A Harbour Goes to War", which sold over 3000 copies.

The exhibition is temporarily closed. There is a structural issue in part of the village hall and this needs to be investigated. Dumfries and Galloway Council are required to prevent access to the hall whilst the investigation takes place. We hope to be able to reopen in the near future. Apologies for any inconvenience.
