Not quite as nice a day as yesterday for the second group from Stanwix Primary School, but the sky is clearing and, hopefully, the rain will have passed by the time they get here.

Saehrimnir can't wait to welcome Stanwix Primary School, from Carlisle. They are bringing two groups, today and tomorrow. It's the most beautiful fresh September morning. It feels like autumn has finally arrived.

🦇 Hallowe'en, Vetrnætr and Samhain, all rolled into one, on the 31st of October. 👻 Afternoon spooky fun gives way to games, activities and familiar musical shenanigans until late. Watch out for details, prices and advance tickets to be released over the next few days. Costumes are highly encouraged, as is extra Fixodent for apple-bobbing. Music, fire and creeeepy company at the Moorforge Hallowe'en Session!

You always know when it's a school day at Moorforge because it's a wet day. It's not been horrible so far, and is expected to clear by midday, so let's hope the children from Great Crosby Primary school don't get too wet today.

Schools are back! Today we welcome Westfield Primary School for a day with Bjarni, finding out how people lived in the 10th century. Let's hope they don't get too wet.

We're honoured to, once again, host this fantastic group of people.

Bjarni is hosting the 4th year with the Midgard Vikings Brotherhood at Moorforge Viking Settlement. This year is an international meeting, so a lot more people. We're nearly set up for the first feast tomorrow night. It should be a fantastic weekend.
