The original painting on the left is “Glen Gary’s Minor Irritation” which I sold a few weeks ago to a wonderful client. As you can see I mounted and framed the one-off, hand signed Artist’s Proof which I am now offering for sale directly from my studio…

The framed size is 61x63cm and is available to be collected for £250. (I can arrange p&p at cost).

There is only one in the whole world and this is it!

“Warm Hearths, Drymen”

It's a funky Friday kind of vibe in my studio this afternoon....

It may be a bit stormy and chilly outside but inside my studio is warm and cosy. The heady smell of oil paint and linseed fill the air as the studio walls vibrate to the pulsating rhythms emanating from my paint splattered stereo speakers! 😎👨🏻‍🎨

A couple of lovely payments from galleries for recent painting sales has topped things off very nicely....

I’ve just sent this image to a client to show them that you don’t necessarily need one big painting to fill a wall. Three smaller paintings spaced evenly in a line can have just as much impact….

It’s the last few days of my solo exhibition “My Mind’s Eye” at the Annan Gallery and I have been absolutely overwhelmed by the response so far!

I would just like to thank all the wonderful people who came along or went on line and purchased my paintings. You have made this my most successful exhibition yet!

Although most of the paintings have now sold there are a few crackers left. And so, with an eye to the festive season fast approaching, there is still time to treat yourself or a loved one to a wee something!

39 years ago I was a struggling artist working seven days a week running my own picture framing business whilst graphic designing and painting.

Over ten years ago, due to increasing public and corporate demand, I retired my framing business and I haven’t looked back!

So far my career as a professional artist has been a most fascinating and rewarding journey. I am truly blessed to exhibit in the country’s most prestigious art galleries and have collectors and patrons spanning the globe.

I only undertake one solo per year which is currently taking place at the Annan Gallery in Glasgow.
