Art Hire Framing was established in 1988 by Mark Greer, a graduate of Glasgow School of Art’s prestigious Fine Art Department, with the aim of providing the highest quality hand finished frames to artists, galleries and collectors.

After a morning hinging artwork in a Georgian townhouse in the "Paris of The North" it was great to see two of Art Hire Framing's longest standing, and most loyal artist customers, in Kirsty Wither and Helen Wilson's exhibition in the Open Eye Gallery, Edinburgh.

With Kirsty in particular, we have been making her frames for about 35 years, and despite moving to Brighton many years ago, she still sends her work to Glasgow for us to frame.
Then on to Murrayfield, but that's another story :-)
