The Glasgow Gallery is an independent contemporary art gallery in the heart of Glasgow City Centre.

A major new solo exhibition with one of Scotlands most recognised and celebrated artists, John Lowrie Morrison - Jolomo

𝗖𝗢𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 opens a week today, Saturday 24th October.

A new collection of vibrant, expressive paintings of Scotlands West Coast, filled with a history of family connections and personal experiences.

We would like to thank everyone who came to the opening of our new exhibition 𝙇𝙄𝙁𝙀 𝙄𝙉 𝘾𝙊𝙇𝙊𝙐𝙍 on Saturday, it was a really lovely busy afternoon.

A huge thank you to all 4 Artists Rosanne, Emma, Jane and Victoria for making the journey to share their experiences and trips which inspired these works.

Don’t worry if you weren’t able to make it on Saturday, the exhibition continues until 10th October and the work can be viewed or purchased on our website www.glasgowgallery.co.uk.

Something very colourful is coming to the gallery this month…

𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒖𝒓 brings together Rosanne Barr, Emma S. Davis, Jane Hunter and Victoria Wylie, exploring the many ways colour can transform our experience of the Scottish landscape.

From Rosanne’s luminous coastlines and Emma’s joyful florals, to Victoria’s expansive seascapes and Jane’s richly pigmented abstractions, each artist brings a distinctive energy and perspective to the exhibition.
