The Tall Ship team takes on Glasgow! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏛🤗🚢🌩

We went on a wee tour around to city to explore and learn about some of Glasgow's best tourism and heritage spots: Govan Fairfield Heritage, The Clydeside Distillery, Kelvingrove Museum, Glasgow Cathedral, Tennents' Brewery, and not least the City Sightseeing Red Tour Bus!
Thank you to everyone we visited for treating us so well, we all learned a lot, and feel a bit spoiled too ☺️

Today we're looking back on 27th April when Glenlee's cargo hold was transformed into the most exclusive venue of Glasgow's International Comedy Festival! 😂

Comedians Viv Gee, , Karin Nixon, Patrick Rollink, and host Stephen Halkett filled the decks of the Tall Ship with laughter in an unforgettable evening below the waterline of the Clyde. 🚢

We’re delighted to share that Tall Ship Glenlee has been awarded funding from the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Ingenious programme!

Our new project, STEM at Sea, will see us working with local primary schools and Malin Group to co-create a brand new suite of hands-on STEM workshops onboard the ship.

Using Glenlee as a floating classroom, we’ll bring maritime engineering to life—connecting young people with real-world skills, stories, and careers.

We can’t wait to get started and share more as the project develops!
