⚔️ Did you know? The Battle of Hastings was fought on this day in 1066, when William, Duke of Normandy, defeated King Harold II of England, changing the course of English history forever.

The famous Bayeux Tapestry tells the story of the Norman Conquest through intricate embroidery. While the original isn’t on display here at Glastonbury Abbey, you can still take home a little piece of its history!

Make the most of cosy season with some Me Time this October 🍁

You're invited to a day of decadence at Abbey House on Saturday 17th October, as tutor Sarah Ward guides you through the process of crafting your own natural skincare.

You'll begin by exploring the art of perfumery and perfecting your own signature scent, then use traditional techniques to craft cold-process soap before creating a luxurious body butter and skin repair salve using natural ingredients.

At the end of the day, you'll take home your creations plus a workbook full of tips and recipes to help you continue your skincare-crafting journey.
