We have a few pieces left by Hubert de Tarlé be sure to pop in and have a look. We found Hubert a few Open Calls ago and we absolutely love his work.

His pieces all feel like they hold so many stories within them…

We still have The Counsellor, The Warden and The Kennel-master showing for Beneath the Veil exhibit.

NEW WORKSHOP ALERT! Ceramic Creature Making

Detailed, step-by-step workshop in a small group setting, led by local artist Shirley Emmerson (B.A.Hons).

A highly experienced ceramic and vintage textile sculptor, who will guide you through all the processes to make, shape and paint your art work.

No experience necessary!

This short course is designed to welcome everyone, from complete beginners to those with more experience. Come with your own ideas or take inspiration from the demonstration creatures on show during the workshop.

Reference images, will also be provided.

All clay, tools, glazes and two firings are provided.

YOUR PIECES WILL BE TAKEN AWAY AND FIRED.

Collection dates will be three weeks after the class is completed.

Postage can be arranged at an extra cost.

We have some wonderful glass 3D pieces by Nigel Evans in our current exhibition, Beneath The Veil.

His use of a traditional craft to make it his own is something we always love to see. His art is delicate and poignant, and each one comes with its own narrative and poetry to accompany the piece.

If you need a quiet spot to rest and recharge, our community hub and garden is always a perfect option. Open to all and for everyone to enjoy (even our fur friends) 🐾

It’s getting darker sooner and there’s a chill in the air, grab a hot drink and warm up. We even have heaters in the seated outdoor area 🤗
